How many great business ideas have you "given away" over the past 5-10 or 15 years?
It may have been something you randomly threw out there on someone's thread, or it may be an idle comment you made regarding s specific topic that was being discussed, or whatever.... and later you found out that someone had scooped up that very idea, ran with it and made a pile of money.
A specific yet hypothetical example might be, oh, say back in 2000 on a message board far far away a group of webmasters may have been discussing things that might be good concepts for new types of pay sites. And someone on that thread may have posted something along the lines of "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if there was a site where a couple of fuckers took a small bus and a vidcam and went around picking up college chicks and talked them into doing naked stuff for cash?".... only to find a year later that the ground-breaking bangbus making a huge unprecedented splash on the adult scene.
A wise man on another board far far away once said "Never cast pearls before swine".... yet I bet he himself has inadvertently given away millions in ideas.

I know I've tossed out a few nuggets here or there over the years that I later noticed people making bank with.
