Cascading allows the join page to be specific to the surfer. For example, if a surfer is from China, he won't be shown a credit card join offer. Instead he'll either be shown telephone billing, Chinese debit billing, or redirected to some other site where he might be more likely to spend money (totally random example.)

Basically, it should mean more money for you.. as it's optimizing the join pages with geolocation and backup processors.
