But yeah on this CP stuff.. there was a story on the news yesterday... the techie guy they were talking to who was some authoritative figure in the anti-CP world (looked a lot like dugmore, the dreads anyway. Anyone see this?).
Anyway, what they asked/suggested was that a lot of people who would normally be appalled by the idea of CP, are lured into checking it out by the tabooness of it & the high availablity of it -- the constant unsolicited spam, the evil TGP popups and stuff. These people would probably NEVER consider distributing it.. well, who knows. But you know what I'm saying.
So what you were saying about turning in viewers - thats good no doubt, but I think the bigger problem of course is the creators and distributors of the stuff.
If THOSE people were identified (by hackers

), turned in & imprisoned.. then of course CP would damn near screech to a halt. But of course that would require some police agency to be receptive of a situation like that and everything... very doubtful
The law just doesn't work like that - effectively.
