Yes, it's absolutely okay to steal from people if you're big enough. It happens every day, and you even think it's fine. The US steals from you every April. Enron stole from you every day. Exxon is still stealing from you every mile. Your phone company, your mortgage lender, your bank, Walmart, everybody that's somebody is stealing from nobodies just like you. Every day. It's called business.
Your mistake is to think you're "people" and the pirate bay is also "people" just like you. Not the case. They reached critical mass, and are now big enough that stealing is okay.
