We are still on our original Sandisk readers. Both compactflash and smartmedia. We have both readers, no problem. And our smartmedia cards are ungodly scored, they are in rough shape. And it all keeps working for us! Never a lost pic, and no image degredation. This is equipment several years old...Good stuff!
