Ok thas is kind of what Im talking about. Think of this. A proprietary player that can be customized for each paysite. The user can download the player, and have like a playlist of content he can add to it from the site, or an interface of some sort that allows the user to select the content. He may stream it, or he may download it fully to watch later. The player calls back to check his subscription much like a drm license will do. The difference being the player is setup by the company to work with only that sites, or network of sites content. I know there have been attempts at windows media player based setups before, but Ive yet to see a flash based one. There are ways it can be done is what Im saying, maybe not 100% security, but make it difficult enough its too much of a hassle. Or that the site owner can randomly change codes that might be hacked etc. Always ways to change things for the better.
