We've been guilty of that a few times, thinking that if we announce it just a few days in advance that it will sustain the excitement through the promo. Obviously building the hype and giving affiliates time works out best for everyone.

It will... we're not sending any traffic to any promos thats announced 3-4 days before... and can send "a few" sales
