D-Money did an unbelievable job putting together this Player's Ball.

The night before CE sponsored the Gigamix party at the C2K. Thousands of people who were in line for Gigamix never got in and left. I almost got jacked up by security even though I was a major sponsor.

The following day, D-Money and I had a meeting at 3pm with the management of C2K to try and make sure this didn't happen again. Again at 11pm we had a meeting with the management and all 35 security people. We told them this is a private party and they should chill their attitude out - obviously they didn't. I also greased 6 of the main security people, this didn't make a difference.

The fact remains that when you try to get 6,000 people into a venue, while checking each person's ID thru two doors, it is going to take time. The C2K security failed us terribly two nights in a row.

Still in all for the thousands of folks that did stand in line and got in, had a great time. It amazes me how folks who don't take the time to get into the Player's Ball knock it because of the issue of getting in.

Digital Underground did an hour and a half remix of their material which was awesome. Then, Xzibit came out and rocked the house!! They were awesome!!

There's absolutely no reason for folks to complain when they are seeing free entertainment that would probably cost about $100 per ticket if it was a public concert.

There's no reason for folks who only saw it from the outside to knock it!

There's no reason to complain that there aren't enough women. Afterall, our industry has many more males than females and it's their responsibility to bring women if that's what they want. We don't supply the entertainment and women, just entertainment!! I know I personally brought in 6 women with me and we had a great time!!

Lensman and I were drinking Cristal and having a great time rocking to the groove!!

Congrats to Lensman for Pimp of the Year honors!!

There's no reason for folks who don't like this type of music to knock the event since that is their personal preference.

To see this level of entertainment at no charge is pretty cool and we're happy to do it. We obviously can't control the security at C2K, so, guess what? Next year the Player's Ball will not be at the C2K.

We'll make sure the venue we do use does not have a show (C2K's Lord of the Dance) that isn't over until 11:45pm.

We'll make sure admittance starts around 8pm for Sponsor & VIP passes.

That's all we can do, and we will do it!!

When we see thousands of people having a great time rocking out to top entertainment, that's a good time!!

All in all, if you braved the lines and got in, it was a great time and that's what we tried to do, entertain Webmasters.

nuff said!!

peace out!!
