i was talking with a partner of mine on ICQ the other day about the old days. he made the interesting point that in the beginning, there were a lot of rogues.. but they were lovable rogues. they had redeeming qualities. today, people are just total thieving pricks with zero redeeming qualities whatsoever.
i am with Tony404. tell me that it is how it is, and i am totally fine with it. i can respect that and i will then decide whether i want to do business with you or not, based on my own personal morals and how much money can be made.
but jesus christ... whats with all the people that are square in the spotlight, caught lying, caught stealing and then lying like 5yr olds that just broke a window... as if everyone is so completely stupid and naive to know the difference? i don't get that at all. its far more offensive that being told the truth.
