If you're not comfortable with Ubuntu's interface, you can try Kubuntu which looks more like Windows.
The only thing that's stopping me right now from switching completely is WINE, but it's getting pretty good recently, I bet in a few months we will be able to run Photoshop CS2 out of the box. Just give it some time

That's another porblem with Linux, too mnay versions. Peole about about Vista and it ahs what 5 versions. Ther are like 20 version of linux. Agree on ONE version make sure programs for windows can work on it and you'll have a winner. With 100,00 geek nerds working on it should take about a month to do.
