There is no reason to switch to Vista. The OS doesn't have any features we need other then DX10, which doesn't matter until games support it. Hardware and software apps support is not great and the integrated drm sucks

I had a dual boot on my system, Windows/Ubuntu for quite awhile. Then one night I went to bed and my system was running fine. Woke up the next morning to a complete nightmare. Some virus slipped through the cracks and caused all kinds of hell. I couldn't even boot back into Windows. Lost all kinds of data. It was just hell. After that mess, I've been 100% Ubuntu.
Every program that I use on a daily basis, except one - (Advance Submitter), I have running on Linux. No way in hell am I ever switching my main machine back to Windows. |
