That is the best advice right there. Don't wait for weeks either to schedule the appointment. Take him in and get him examined. The Vet will be able to determine his approximate age and if he has worms, other issues, or is completely healthy. From there the Vet will be able to advise you on what is good and what isn't for your kitten.
