If Russia had military bases throughout Latin America and wanted to set up a missile shield to protect South America the US would be pretty pissy too.
The missile shield is a joke though. Good intelligence and preemptive strikes against 'rogue nations' would probably be a better investment. Like what Israel will likely do to Iran at the final hour. Unfortunately they'll be lighting off nukes.
