Here are some of the bigger ones, not counting Independant.
Constitution Party (formerly the U.S. Taxpayers Party) (1992).
Democratic Party (1792, 1820s ? present).
Green Party of the United States (1984).
Libertarian Party (1971).

Show me a 3rd party that has received even ONE electoral vote in a presidential election in the last 50 years. The last successful 3rd party is the GOP. That was 150 years ago.
