Ok, then what is your definition of Freedom? Besides the basics like speech and assembly, what do you consider to be a "freedom"?
Fact: some drugs are illegal in the USA. Are you suggesting that this is not an example of the loss of freedom?
By the way...when you say "Your freedoms stop where they intrude on those of another person"...do you not think that there are a lot of examples where even the use of free speech intrude on others? I think you meant some thing like: Your right to punch someone else in the face ends at the other persons nose.
Oh and while we are talking about freedom, lets talk about economic freedom...I think that you will agree that most countries including the US do not enjoy this freedom.
