as someone that grew up in alaska and has shot everything with a heartbeat... i have thought about this one and have to call bullshit. i have shot a lot of shit. my father is a brown bear guide.. i have seen a lot of bears, moose, mountain goats, sheep, caribou etc etc get shot.
an 11 year old with a high caliber pistol? huh? i had quite a few .44's that were tricked out... the biggest animal i ever shot with a pistol was a big mountain goat... i put 4 rounds into him... two into his shoulder and 2 into his chest cavity at about 20 yards and all he did was look at me like i was an asshole. thats just a 300-400 pound goat.
that is sooooo highly improbable. maybe it could have happened if the pig walked up to him and he put the gun to his head.
i grew up around professional hunters and these people are retarded, often fanatical and totally detached from reality. if i had to guess... i would say that most likely someone shot it with the rifle and the kid finished it off or visa-versa.
hunting and fishing are always about "the story" for these tards. i never seen a guy shoot a brown bear in alaska that didn't insist that it was charging him. i'm have no doubts that they are bending the truth on this or making shit up completely as to how things went down.
