Two men who lived on the planet of Tatooine were competing for a woman's hand in marriage. The father of the woman, who didn't really like either man, told them to take their speeders and race to the spaceport of Mos Eisley and back. The last speeder to cross the finish line would be the winner. Both men realised that this could be a very long race and so went to seek the advice of Obi Wan Kenobi who lived atop a quiet hill beyond the Dune Sea.
