as far as i know there are only 2 reasons they can arrest you for speeding
1) you appear under the influence of something
2) you were going double the speed limit or faster.
the later is considered "reckless endangerment" and bumps the mistermener of speeding up to a low level felony, thus your ass will be in the back of a police car shortly.
