The established guys don't need a lot of time or support and will return a profit. The newbies need a lot of support and are unlikely to return a profit. So how much can we afford to invest in them?

No excuse for being rude because someone is a newbie and no excuse for painting a rosie picture of his chances of being around in 6 months time. Just because you need another guy throwing galleries at a TGP or putting up another blog.

The industry is 10 years old, and more, the time for newbies making it with no money, experience, skills or talent is over.

If that sounds tough then fine. But if it were not true there would be no newbies. Basic traffic generation would go in house. I can employ people for $30 a day or less. I'm better off getting them building galleries for others to submit rather than submit them myself like a newbie.

I really wish I was around in the golden days because I have been doing this for a few months PART TIME, maybe 1 to 3 hours a day (counting surfing time on GFY) and making low $x,xxx a month. I started with NO $$ and NO skills.

Noobs can do it, with nothing, they just have to think of a way.

Could you make it now if you were a noob?
