Well, listen... I'm a HUGE fan of Slash and co ... I'm obsessed by Slash actually as he's the reason I play guitar ...
but I'm gonna say this now ... that doesn't mean I'm closed minded. The new GnR are a fucking good band...
I have all the leaked studio demo's they have done, including Chinese Democracy, and I have to say ... they're GREAT songs!
especially Chinese Democracy ... It's hard hitting, Axl's voice sounds awesome, the guitars are thundering and it's one of the best tunes I've heard in a long time.
I'm not talking about the live bootlegs btw... I'm talking about the studio demo's ... done in the studio... for the album sessions.
Ah... good times... Velvet Revolver have an album out in July and by the fact that we have these studio demo's from GnR, Axl's new band is gonna have the album out this year too!
