The viewer addicted to jerking off to porn is the guy we live off. His tastes are refined and free TGP porn is not going to satisfy his needs. It's via the TGP that he becomes addicted to jerking off to the specific porn that stimulates him.
Porn has always been available and very low priced or even free. We make our living out of supplying a version of it that appeals to one strata of aficionado. The casual browser will not buy enough to fund a 25 billion dollar industry.
Amazing how little some people know about the people they are trying to sell to.
