You may not interact with them, but gas stations don't run themselves and gas doesn't just magically show up in the storage tanks. And when you swipe your card, it would probably help if someone was working at the bank where the money comes from and I'm thinking it would be helpful if someone worked at the auto repair shops and the tire stores and the auto supply stores. And I wonder if Rochard likes to go to a restaurant once in a while and shop for groceries and buy clothes and go to the movies, and any of those other places where people work that probably can't afford $5 a gallon for gas. Maybe he uses the phone once in a while or watches TV. You don't have to interact with those people either, but the country ain't gonna run without them.
Frankly, I don't think he thought it through.
