Belief in non-existent entities gets some people committed, yet 9 of 10 American's say they believe in one without any proof or logical reasoning. Maybe it's just trendy?

It really amazes me.

Science has disproved many aspects of religion again and again, although some would argue that religion is a science (as the catholic/christian schools preach) and explain things in a different way (ie, creationism vs evolution). That's complete bullshit in my opinion, but if people want to base their knowledge of the world on an old novel thats their problem.

My science cured smallpox while theirs has a history of burning witches and starting wars. Go figure.
