If this is his first tgp he's going to have to work everyday anyway so he might as well learn how to blog. I mean a real blog covering a niche you are personally interested in with REAL posts. Or, even better, 10.

You will make more money long-term that way. In your first 3-6 months a newb TGP is still barely making lunch money where if you really learn to blog or anything else the SE's love you will have money coming in for years to come.

You can also make auto updating SE friendly info pages and many other things. Directories with short description are also making a comeback. It's like a review site but not as saturated at this point IMHO... plus with enough of them you can sell the search traffic.
