exercise gurus - three day split twice a week?

is this too much to take a three day split and do the upper body routine twice a week (as long as I'm not too sore) like so:

Monday: Chest & Back & Abs
Tuesday: Arms/shoulders
Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: Chest & Back & Abs
Friday: Arms/shoulders

sat/sun: plenty of rest and beer
