Digg sites are good because its ACTUALLY social bookmarking! If you run a Porn Digg and just SPAM the damn site with crap its NOT social bookmarking...

If I look at Pornogg and see 20 1 digg posts on the main page and like 2 with 2 diggs, I must wonder whats the point...

Its just TGPs with a new interface and web 2.0 words on them... its NOT an actual social bookmarking site...

Sorry for that, just had to...
Agreed. It's RSS all over again. While most of the mainstream web started embracing RSS three or four years ago, Adult companies have just jumped in in the last year or two without knowing what the fuck they were doing just so they can say "er yeah we have uh those RSS thingamajigs too"

The most important part of "social bookmarking" that most all the porn digg clones don't get is of course the "social" part...as in lots of people lifting up the good stuff and dropping the crap. Some of them have been around for quite a while so being new can't be an excuse and yet the most popular links have hardly any diggs.

They seem totally fake and look like the site owner sits there all day spamming his own shit hoping for a few new surfers each day as nobody would ever go back for a second look.

I don't buy the excuse either that joe (porn) surfer isn't smart enough to understand the concept of rating a site as digg certainly isn't full of rocket scientists.

To be successful, the porn digg clones need to understand exactly what elements make a solid porn community, rather than building a real purty entrance with nothing inside.
