Well, I'm going to assume you haven't had any other trouble with the law. If you do and the police know it that might be why they came at you with guns drawn because they didn't know what you might do. If that is the case and you have had no history of violence and haven't had a history of being in the hospital with mental problems I would start with the hospital and sue everyone involved with this.
I can understand them coming to the house and I can even understand them taking you to the hospital, but taking you at gun point and knocking you out for days at a time is too much. How do they know your girlfriend isn't a bitter ex making the call just fuck with you? They can't diagnose you based on what someone told them.
If I were on a jury I would side with you (based on what you have said. If what you have said isn't the whole story then I may change my mind) and I would be okay with a pretty big award going to you. The public officials are there to help people, not drag them out of their houses at gun point and drug them for several days based only on a phone call.
