I've always been a sales person ... I hate it, but I'm good at it and well, I'm just a salesperson for life.
However ... "No" in sales people terms means "not yet." It does not mean become ridiculously annoying, hit me up, email me, ICQ me when I've told you once I'm not interested. Just end it with, "well if you change your mind, let me know." Then in about a month or two, you can hit them back up with "I know you said you weren't interested last time, but I just wanted to followup and see if anything new developed."
If you get a no again, just say thanks and move on.
I like to think I'm professional and get the job done, but I also know when to take a hint.
All of these account rep threads lately and the practices of reps is making me mad because they give us all bad names!
