Finally out of the hospital
My gastric bypass was to be on May 1st, all was fine until I awoke in the recovery room and was told they could not complete the surgery.
it seems as though my anatomy is a bit different and my stomach is on the opposite side and if they were to continue there would definitely be serious complications...so we decided to go with the lap band...two surgeries in two days.
I went home on Thursday and started experiencing some serious diarrhea and nausea...I was checked back into the hospital early Friday morning and spent two really rough nights there...I was released today feeling much better.
Anyway...I just thought I'd drop the news.
