Most likely you are right. They take these well established story lines and chop the shit out of them to make a movie. A movie that generally or majory stinks. You think someone would get a clue and not try to compress 15 years of comic book story line into one two hour crap fest.
I would love to see a series of movies that all followed the same story line, and gave it some time to develop, and reach a decent conclusion instead of the shake and bake stuff we get these days. Anyone remember the days of Roy Rogers when they cranked out dozens of movies around the same character? A little old time revival is needed I think.
