First is "do you know what you're getting yourself into?" Second, I'd tell them to be safe and smart about it, after all it's a business. Third, Compare notes. Lastly "I would scold them and ask how they could go work for someone else when they could work for me!!"
Just kidding, but I would definitely do steps #1 and #2.
