More than 20 exotic dancers many wearing pink T-shirts emblazoned with "Dancers for Democracy" spoke at a press conference Tuesday to protest Senate Bill 16, which would establish a 6-foot buffer between dancers and their customers.

They said the bill would violate their constitutional rights to free speech and jeopardize their ability to earn a living.
