they're very different. google video/youtube actually hosts the content. they also have way more vistors than the pirate bay. theft is theft. it doesn't matter if it's members areas, movies, music, tv shows, applications, whatever. you can find full dvd rips, complete television series, music videos, etc all over youtube/google video being used without permission. all content needs to be screened by human eyes before it's made live. youtube/google relies on other people to willingly flag content. why would people that want to watch stolen content flag it? it's not hard to title something so it can't be found through a search.
