Reminds me of a case making a lot of headlines here in Phoenix where a man is accused of animal cruelty for feeding a 3 week old live puppy to his Boa. After the Boa bit the puppy and began constricting it an crushing its bones, the man then yanked the puppy out away and coated it with cooking oil and returned it to the snake for easier digestion. His mistake was that he let two teenage boys watch the incident and they reported it to authorities.
