I'm on post 27 now. We're gtting close.

I will share some basic info:
Google (which is where over 60% of search traffic comes from) likes large content sites. Lots of related pages all cross-linked. Take a theme, make a page, clone it about 10 or more times, and make targetted changes to each page. You want (1) traffic and (2) better rankings to get you more traffic. You will probably not rank well on your primary keyword or keyword phrases, but you can pick up traffic and rankings from phrases that are even more targetted.

Also, you need relevant inbound links from good quality sites (not link farms). These will take time to develop, but this is where the big ranking boosts come from.
