Were you to ever find yourself in that unfortunate position, you could reasonably be accused of putting up a warning page you knew to be ineffective, thus actually doing nothing except giving yourself the chance to claim in court that you attempted to keep minors out.

I see no harm in warning pages and possible marketing benefits from them. But it is an illusion to imagine they protect sites against minors or our legal position in that regard.
