Because they are fascinated with the thought of,or the theory of "relationships" until they are actually in one. Then they realize that with commitment comes loss of freedom, or limitations of it.
What I've noticed with women like is that is. Once they've reached that limit of living wild they actually become good wives "in general" (whether they become house wives or working women) For some reason or another they realize the value of security, and do everything to keep it.
Now, I maybe wrong, or just a little drunk,but that's my honest opinion.
