The instructions said it would do that, but they also said to chmod the blog root to 777. I did but when I go back and check the files after the auto upgrade, the root dir is still 777 the other files seem to be back to the original settings.
Did you notice the same?
Also I noticed his download files are all messed up. I tried to D/L the zip file and it only had a single file in it. So I downloaded the tar file which seemed to have all the files.
However it didn't include the "work" folder. So just out of a hunch I made a folder in the wp-content/plugins/instantupgrade/ dir and chmod it to 777 and the upgrade worked fine.
So the plug in seems to work fine but he should re-check his files and instructions because they are a bit incomplete. Other than that it seems to work like a charm.
