well, here is my line of reasoning with this.
my evo has just a shade under 300 horsepower at the crank stock. i've added a decent bit of horsepower recently, and with the all wheel drive, i don't do anything at the line but get up and move.
i am planning on getting out on the drag strip soon here in pittsburgh, and getting some hard numbers. i am shooting for low 12's on street tires. by the end of the season i want to be in the mid 11's. do you run rear slicks on your cars?
that being said, if you can beat me in a straight line, i will add more horsepower and try again ;)
THAT being said, post some pictures, the 1971 chevelle is a sexy car.
