I'm looking for opinions on doing blog posts. What do you think converts best from SE traffic?

1. Text + photo link to a hosted gallery.
2. Text + photo link to the paysite.
3. Something else.

I'm doing both on my blogs and am getting about the same conversion ratio, but I've only just started and don't have enough information to pick one or the other.

Anybody got any opinions?
