Do you think they do it because the in house are cheaper and a better alternative than outside affiliates, or the other way around?
Maybe they run the big expensive programs for affiliates because they like giving money away, or maybe it's because as an affiliate has already posted $500 a month is a figure to tell everyone?
By telling affiliates it's a tough game, needs to be worked and studied hard and needs time to build. Plus in the end you will always be a cheaper alternative than opening up your own own in house generation of traffic. And you need to have money to invest. You're being more honest.
Then only those prepared to put in the sweat and labour will take it on. It's this constant painting a picture that it's easier than it is, that pisses me off. Like a lot of snake oil salesmen selling a wonder drug.
