I have been in both real life and paintball and I would rank paintball the closest thing to the real thing.. because you are still getting SHOT AT... that being said you wipe off and think to yourself what you did wrong and try to correct that next time... this thread is about everyone standing by...

If I saw an opportunity I would have done something. Only if I saw one though. I am a veteran of the first Gulf War and I have seen real "heroes". I have also seen real "heroes" getting killed because they took things easily. They endangered them selves and often their buddies because of unnessecary risks. I never played paintball. I have always thought of it as a silly hormone game.
I might have gone after the guy if there were no snipers or other trained persons available and I was sure there would be more killings.
That being said : I am trained and I have been in real situations. I dont support the widespread of guns though because there are more crazy people then trained people. I am very happy knowing that it might be hard for me to get a gun but it is even harder for them to get a gun. There are professionals and they are called police. I agree with you that they did a shitty job here but I would like to be able to depend on them for my safety and the safety of others.
