your right you have no idea what your walking in on... but your certian of one thing... shots are being fired and chaos is going on... the cellphone video you can hear the sounds of terror.. which unless youve heard it first hand... it's kind of skin raising to hear grown men scream at the top of the lungs. so as a officer of the law who is sworn to protect and serve and to uphold the law they in my eyes stood by.... I am a citizen, I am a very very well trained citizen but a citizen none the less but I would have felt it my human obligation to help people out because I am trained... is it possiable that you would have walked in on an ambush of 6 kids yes... is the probaility rate of the 6 kids killing your team all at one time very rare... then you get into tactical operations then.. how to clear a house, dorm, .. room for that matter.... there are proper ways and bad ways..... I agree with you 100% they did not know nothing what was going on inside but you ahve to enter to save lives... kind of like the WTC firemen they didn't know it was a terror attack they entered anyways.. those are heros to me... they tried to save human beings lives.... all the cops there did was stand by as more innocent students trying to make their way in life were shamlessly gunned down by some lunitic gun weilding kid with a death wish... at that point your not trying to take a suspect into custody your trying to stop the threat.. for a lack of better words.. they pulled a john kerry during a time of battle Im glad none of those cops are in a foxhole with me cause they'd prolly shoot me in the back from being so scared..... anyone I have spoken with who is also trained were all standing here saying what the fuck were the cops doing... now we havent read the full report and I doubt it will be public anytime soon... so we really don't know.. I know what I saw with my eyes on video.. cops cowering behind a tree shaking in their little boots...
lets go back some years when to idiots help off the entire LAPD with only 2 guns..... did we not learn our lesson then to hit em hard and fast? why do you think they held off the good guys? becuase they were hitting hard fast and strong.. against an entire police dept... that was say 2 vs 200 so your telling me that an entire classroom can't hit em hard? cops can't hit em hard? thats what happends.. anyone ever heard the expression "hesitation will kill you".. well thats what happend.. they hesitated to enter and people got kiled because of it.. it never should have happend that way.... cops enter overwhealm get into a little gunfight, hopefully stop and elimnate the threat.. as far as I see it there is no other option.. he was on a rampage you have to stop the threat and you may have to rist your life in doing so bottom line....
