Keep screaming for more laws to make it harder to
LEGALLY purchase firearms. Sure, go ahead and pass some new laws to do this.. I'll even support them and vote for them.
But what you dont seem to grasp is... The guns used in the majority of these shootings/crimes and what ever are not purchased
LEGALLY. They are purchased on the street or blackmarket, from drug dealers, thieves who steal them from others, it doesnt matter because they are obtained
ILLEGALLY. No new law making it harder for the
LEGAL PURCHASE of firearms is going to stop the back room/street corner
ILLEGAL deals done by criminals.
You do understand the concept of
LEGAL and
ILLEGAL dont you? One is allowed by law, one is against the law. The person who plans to go on a rampage like this... which route do you think he will take to obtain a firearm?
