You out them on a public forum and they have time to remove the content, change sponsors, etc. It seems to me you guys are all after temporary solutions (sponsor removal) rather than a longterm solution (suing the fuck out of them/getting them off the internet). Contact a lawyer and see what he tells you. His advice surely won't be to start threads on public forums giving the offender the chance to remove your content before the crime has even been documented.
If you are not the content owner you should contact the content owner PRIVATELY so they can take legal action accordingly. I know it's fun to call out these little love triangles on GFY and you probably will get a faster response, but it does little to actually bring down the torrent sites or harm the people running them. AFF drops them, there are others that will slide in. I'm sure the cost of running those sites is minimal. One lost AFF check isn't gonna stop them.
Just my opinion. We do own content, and I'm telling you we would rather be told about theft and criminal activity involving our content privately.
