If everyone had a gun MORE people would be dead, but the vast majority do not only not know how to fire a gun properly they also have bad aim. Not to mention the Dirty Harrys among them and people just firing hysterically.
Gun safety and maintenance? People don't even take those classes now? Even suggesting one should take a gun safety and maintenance course before getting gun will get the NRA is a hissy.
