Yeah, stop ragging on folks for an SEO scheme that you just don't happen to agree with and start offering constructive criticism instead of hate.
SEO is far from a science as of yet and it changes with every tweak the SEs make to their algorithm and database.
Whatever works to get someone to the top of the SEs is what folks will do, sometimes through following what the experts say, sometimes by experimentation and sometimes by lucky mistake.
