Pioneer Elite as noted is the best. make sure its the 'elite' line which is more expense than the regular models.
i personally have a panasonic 50" which i got for $2000 last thanksgiving and i've seen for $1,799 now....can't beat that one IMO - the Pioneers will run you $3500-$5000
