I then casually went in the store and came back out a few minutes later and just watched as person after person tried to pick up the coin, get frustrated, then leave.

I watched for about an hour then went home. I came back the next day with a friend and we watched some more (god damn it, we were bored as fuck ok?). For some reason it was one of the most entertaining things to watch. Finally after about two hours (we went and ate some lunch and came back) some asshole with some steel-toed boots kicked and kicked at the coin until it came undone and picked it up. I still hate that guy.
