Actually... I had no idea who the guy was other than seeing him on some news show awhile back, so I've never listened to him, but the point is... The Rutger girls didn't listen to him either... They were just playing basketball and he felt the need to throw a quite disrespectful comment directly at them because he thought he could...
Just as yourself, I'm not one to be offended by such talk, by his type, comedians, or anyone else that says stupid stuff.. It's too easy to consider the source, ignore it, and go on about my business..
But.. this is a case where The folks at Ebony Magazine started an uproar, the hypocrite team of Jackson and Sharpton followed suit and all went from there..
I don't think he needed to be fired. He could have turned this into something very positive with his apparent influence and with the good things that he's done..
Maybe things will turn around because of this and perhaps others, in other genres, may now be held more accountable for their actions...
